Greetings everyone,
I just got a G3 and am looking forward to getting the most from it.
Does anyone use the "landscape" mode? If so, what difference does the make?

I usually don't use it, since it doesn't let you choose your own ISO.

Thanks for the feedback.
Your point is a good one!

Test the Landscape Mode against other modes and see if you like the results. On my old S30 I noticed that the metering was much more accurate in Landscape Mode than in Av or Tv modes, for example. The dynamic range captured was visibly better. Not sure about the G3, as I haven't test it - yet.

The only thing I noticed in shots taken in landscape mode is that they have a bit more contrast. It usually does a good job and you most likely won't have to do much post processing.
