Imagemagick trouble

I have had my website for awhile now. I have uploaded 755 pics successfully and now I am having trouble resizing troubles. Imagemagick has been installed and all my folder's settings are correct. Everything was correct because I uploaded 755 pics fine but now I am having trouble. When i upload a photo there are no thumbnails or resized photos available only the original size. I have been having this trouble for awhile. Trying to diagnose the problem I found that safemode was on but the webmaster has now turned that off. Now i cannot upload any pics the page goes blank, the original size photo wont even upload now.

When I check server info, the main page, says that imagemagick is installed. i try to go to the test page and it will only load half the page before timing out.

Any ideas? thank you.

Check to make sure the permissions are set correctly. My gallery has thrown errors when some revert for no apparent reason (aka hosting admins messing something up).
