Zip -- Sure does look nice in that Tree. Can't say I've ever seen one on a Diamond though?

Pretty nice capture there. The colorful ones are always good to look at. Thanks for sharing this.

Nancy... The Avian version, like the 'other', don't play ball well either!

Go White Sox!

Wonderful shot ,they just started coming around my area they always stay way up in the tree tops. How did you get close enough to photograph him ?

Beautiful shot here Zip of one of the most vibrant birds in my area. There was a nest ( hanging) not far from my home last summer but I still did not manage as close and clear a shot as you have presented here. Beautiful work!

Wonderful shot Zip. After seeing this I'm glad I haven't posted one of my recent shots. Looks like I need to go back for more practice!

I've never seen such a beautiful capture of an Oriole! Normally they have tobacco in their lips and are always adjusting themselves.

Your capture is much nicer!

Thanks Chris! I had the same problem as everyone else, always to high in the trees. What I did was go back to where I had seen them but in the fall after the leaves were gone and find the old nest. When it was time for there return I keep checking the old nest and they showed up and started building new nest right next to the old one. Then it took some time for them to get use to me.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words.
