Where do you think is the best place to put a watermark on an image for web gallery viewing?
And what style (transparent, text etc.)
btw I plan on using a photoshop action and batch processing for watermarking

Honestly, I don't put them in the image at all. After placing the image on the page, I add a text layer over the entire image and put the copyright in it. This way the text layer is the top element and the image can no longer be left clicked to be copied. Real smart people will know to look in the cache for it.... but they are also the people who are smart enough to get rid of water marks too. This way it makes it hard for the casual clicker to grab the image.
If you do place the watermark in the image - you can still use the text box over image to keep them from right clicking.... just a thought.
