Hey,
naming images is way too hard, its much easier just taking the shot (and less stressful).
Another urban shot, this contains four seperate rooms in a derelict building.
Sadly some people still use this building for shooting up, and hiding from society, its 'their world'.
Did some pp to make it look even more derelict, but it didnt need much as the location was bad.
Sadly, the web version loses all the intricate detail and some impact...

Marty that's a great shot I like it very much for it's strong graphical nature. Is that the same place as the other shots?
Roger.

Hey Roger....
yeah the same series....
The printed version is awesome, the details and colours are great.
But the file is 100mb, so it loses the impact when reduced to 500k for the web.
When are you coming to Sydney, I want to catch up and maybe you can show me some of the more interesting areas in the suburbs.

Nice shot Marty. I like the contrast and colors and I do like the framing.

Thanks Guys,
I have many more in the same building.
I am trying to select the best from the 500 shots I took.
And this is the first set I have kept in colour, I always do b/w.
So trying to get the best pp is more challenging in colour than b/w.
Cheers

...not just a hang out for the drug-folk, but also a hangout for a photographer it seems : ) you are quite brave venturing into these places...

Hey Andrew,
it's a perfect location for the the type of photgraphy I love, but I don't think many other photographers would be foolish enough to enter the building with many $k of camera equipment.
Brave I am not, more like Stupid or Risky, but it's worth it for the shots I got.
If you want a print, name your price and I will send you a copy...;)
I have sold a print already.

Just looked at your web site.
You have some awesome and funky shots on there, love some of the images.
And your web design is cool and different, I like it a lot.

I am very taken with the mixture of colours in this pic.

Actually, it also reminds me of a picture Dave (Choderboy) did of a tagged train.

Great shot.

Sad. Crumble buildings make me feel sad. good photo but prefer black and white and more grain, but that not my shot but your.

Interesting. I do wish the foreground were in focus as well though and maybe a bit less centered by bringing more of the forground in.
