Can someone explain what this is, how I can find out if I have it, or need it and how to get it, what function it performs? Basically complete breakdown, once again thank you in advance.

i recomende you do not upgrade to a new firmware if your camera work correctly
i have point this new firmware can occur a small trouble when shooting at 7mm of focal-lenght the picture is slightly blur for the subjet focus over 15 feet , and the distant number in exif data desappear, this problem has happenede to many user g2 after upgrade, to 1.10

Okay everyone ... Where are all these posts showing that tons of people are having focusing issues with the new Firmware, I just keep seeing the same 2 or 3 users posting their problems, and saying many others are having the same problem.

I'm just curiouse because I've read through the posts here and searched on Google, and found very little evidence of this being an epidemic issue.

Also can someone explain the Exif issue that the new Firmware aparently causes, what data is lost and in what situations?
