I have a Canon G2 and I have always shot at the highest resolution at superfine........but.......in jpeg format. I wanted to give shooting in RAW a try to see what it was like. I took several shots but when I attempted to convert them using Canon's bundled software (Canon Raw image converter).........the software did not seem to work. I did everything right according to the instructions...........but..........when I went to open the supposedly (Raw converted to Tiff) files in my docs/my pictures..........they did not exist. Apparently Canon's Raw image converter did not convert the files. I have made several attempts but to no avail. Can someone help me out here please? Thank you.

Solved my own problem by downloading the newest version of Canon's Raw image converter.....here.

Hi there, before you click on Start to begin the convertion - set the destination folder to where you want your .tiff files to be saved (click on Save Settings, and point to the destination folder). Otherwise it will be saved by default, to the user's desktop (i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\[user's name]\Desktop). Good luck.
