Any samples of 2X converter?

I'm not even 100% sure if this would work: a 2X teleconverter with a 75-300mm (IS) lens..Even a sample of a 1.4X would be appreciated..

I don't think the 2xII will work with that lens. Most people seem to think 2X TC's degrade the image too much but world renouned bird photographer Arthur Moris uses 1.4 and 2x TC's on quiet a few of his photos.
