Thanks to everyone to make this forum a great knowledge base for D30. I read most of the posts on D30 and found it very helpful, but still have some questions.
I am not a professional user of D30, so I did not play with the "raw" model very often and did not go through much of the "work flow" as suggested in this forum.
1. While I got excellent results from D30 with large fine mode, the prints I got from www.ofoto.com have some problem on the color on people's face: it looked a little bit COLD GREY. I called ofoto rep once, and he was not very sure about the cause of the problem, but suggested it might be the problem with White Balance. But I don't know how to correct it.
2. I found that the pictures look better after I increase the contrast in photo shop. The standard pictures look dull and I do not want to spend lots of time post-processing. So I created new set of parameter in the camera with "HIGH" contrast and keep the other two normal.
I notice that someone suggested "low" sharpness, "low" contrast, and "HIGH" saturation. I would like to get more of your insights on this topic. I was planning to try the setting of: "HIGH" contrast, "normal" sharpness, and "HIGH" saturation.
Thanks for educating me on these topics!
