Ken, you've done a wonderful job capturing the rich colors and terrain of the Painted Hills--beautiful. What time of day were these taken? We were there at high noon a few years ago, and my photo efforts paled in comparison to yours [literally and figuratively].

Really nice picture. It would make a nice print if the bright spots were a tad brighter.
I'm not really sure if it's my monitor, but some of the spots where the shadows start look a little bit green. Was there some sort of sparse grass/moss growing there?

The soil is very green, almost emerald green, in some spots. The capture was taken on a bright cloudless afternoon... about 5:30 PM.

This photo, the colors and the rolling hills, really move me. i do not care for the framing, however, but that's just me.

I think the image is excellent - the frame is ok, it may even add a little to the effect.
Exactly where are these hills? Arizona? May make a nice destination for a motorcycle trip!
