I am unable to convert RAW inages to TIFF files with Zoom Browser. I updated to the newest revision and still no luck. I am able to convert to JPG; just not to TIFF files.

Amybody have a fix for this problem?

How do you know for sure that TIF files are not being produced? You might want to describe your computer setup and operating system.

Please describe, in detail, the steps that you are going through. Maybe somebody can find some step that you are missing.

Bob-

For two days, I was unable to convert to TIFF. Tried again and it seems to work. Not sure what, if anything, was done differently, but who cares since it worked!

Herb, I've found this to be true a lot (when you are having a real head-scratcher problem):

(1) Repeat the problem situation over and over. If you watch it enough, you will see if it is intermittent or else a "hard failure". If it is intermittent, then see if there is any consistent trend at all. If it is a hard failure, then stop and ask yourself what else changed immediately prior to the first time.
(2) Describe the situation, perhaps in a news forum like this one. Give complete detail for the machine, OS, app, and then, if necessary, the exact steps that you took or the exact buttons that you clicked. Describe what you expected, and then exactly what happened or what you saw.

The mere fact of laying out all of these details in black and white often causes you to see some aspect of the problem that will lead you to the cause. If you get to the point where you can make an intermittent problem happen repeatedly, time after time, then you are part of the way to solving it.

You would be surprised how many of us have experienced the same problem, and chances are that we got ours fixed... and there is a good chance that we understand what happened on ours.
