Most of you know I hang out in the wedding area the most but I did a maternity shoot tonight and (I think) I got some pretty good images. I needed reflectors here and there that I didn't use but overall I'm pretty pleased. Thanks for looking : )

Thank you, yes it was in a studio. She was a fun mom to work with. Here's what's really funny about it..... she only has 5 weeks left!!

As far as the B&W, I saw her adjusting her hair and as soon as I saw it I asked her to do it again. That's how that picture came to be.

Nothing is more gorgeous than a pregnant woman, and you've captured her beautifully! :-)

No kidding, I think I'm that big and I have 3 months left...yikes.

I love the BW, the pose is beautiful. I think #3 might look nice in BW also.

I think pregnancy photos look best in B&W. I don't know exactly why though

Thanks again!! : ) This (my wife and daughter) was only my SECOND maternity shoot. I'm so stuck in the wedding world these days that it's fun to get the studio lights out and play.

Jasen, your wife and daughter are wonderful. The white one is so soft and sweet... I love it! I also love the "typical" third pose. Somehow it is always the right pose.
Wow, she is big...gonna have a strapper of a boy, there :):)

HAHAHA.... yeah I know. She's only gained 25 pounds too but we have big Baby's. Hannah was 9 Lbs 4oz and I'm expecting about the same for this one. Oh and it's a boy.

Thanks by the way for the compliments. Still going to Yosemite without me?? : (

Thanks Krista, yes, the wife is WAY ready to have this one and my daughter is pretty excited. She's 3 now and really looks forward to having someone to play with. I am losing my studio room though wich is a bummer but we ar elooking at actually opening a studio anyway. Things going good for you?

Newgen - My daughter was just under 2 when the second one came along and couldn't be more excited about "baby". They're finally at the age where they play together and it's wonderful! Can't wait to see lots of newborn pics!

Studio - what's that? In my dreams! I occasionally rearrange furniture in my living room for a pseudo-studio. We keep talking about moving to a place where I can have studio space... some day. Let us know if you get set up - that'd be pretty sweet!!
