Had the opportunity to shoot at the House Of Blues in San Diego this past Friday night. I was going to shoot two bands in particular, but took a few shots of one of the opening bands, whose name escapes me:

I didn't really do anything to these; just throwin' 'em up here for the usual.

I will say this, the House Of Blues is a great place to shoot...

Love that butt crack! :-) Glad you are getting to shoot at a decent venue, too! :-)

Yeah, HOB is nice because it's a full-pro outfit, unlike just about any of the nightclubs here in San Diego...

I really like the first one - the chain makes for an interesting shot! The second two don't really do it for me. In the second maybe think about a tighter crop to get rid of the left guitarist and some of the heads, and try and fix the blowouts on his face and arm. In the third again the highlights on the main guy seem a bit much and the composition seems a bit bland - the wide angle doesn't seem to add that much of interest and his position in the frame doesn't seem quite right.

Thanks.

This wasn't a band I was there to shoot, but I was just grabbing some test shots. They were decent enough, so I figured I'd pop 'em up here.

Oh, and I remember the name of the band: Tailgunner...
