Patagonian Mara

When i opened this picture in PS for editting , it seemed that (although not a great picture) it looked a bit 3D.
The sky is somehow bright but i couldn`t do much about it as the animal`s body is too dark against the bright bg.

Patagonian Mara / Dolichotis patagona
Also known as the Patagonian cavy, this large rodent is one of the world's few monogamous mammals.
Its head and body length is up to 75 cm, and it weighs between 9 and 16 kg.
maraHome Range : Central and southern Argentina
Habitat : Arid grasslands
Diet : Grasses and any other vegetation
Reproduction : Maras may produce three or four litters (usually two young) per year.
Social Structure : Maras are monogamous (they mate for life).

Great close up Dimitri.:) The detail is incredible and I see the 3D effect also.

Neat look, the 3D aspect that is. It would be cool to find out how you did it, if you know. Or was it just by chance?

Great close up Dimitri. The detail is incredible and I see the 3D effect also.

No secrets here,done by chance,thats the only picture of mine that ever came out like this.

I tend to disagree -- I think it's a great shot. I also agree that I think it a bit 3D as well.

Gorgeous shot dimitri - was that the 300 prime or the 100-300 zoom?

It's jumping out of my monitor!:D Very sharp image despite the high contrast bg.
