First try at stacking, both from two images. Tried with some insect shots but ended up with lots of double image areas - not sure why.

These 2 worked well anyway- like both of them :)
Commonest problem with bugs is them moving between shots.

Well I'll keep trying. I guessed the insects moved, although it was small enough to be not noticable at the time. I suspect there is a way to control what is included from each frame with CombineZ but have not worked out anything beyond clicking the Stack macro.

You may be right but I haven't delved any deeper either.

dont download Gdiplus.zip if you have windows XP as it replaces files that run windows with older ones and may crash your PC - it did mine!:o :o :o

ok my first attempt - clearly something wrong. Focused on each battery in turn using tripod then stacked the 4 images.
