Well i finally put my case tot he test, left it underwater for 10 hrs without the lube on it. Left a big bunch of tissues in the middle to see if any water got in.

I didn't trust the case but this restored my faith in it.

This sounds really good!
But remember that the deeper the case comes, the more pressure will it be exposed to. That means that if its dry in 1/2m, it might still leak in a depth of 10m.

I also got a casing, but the WP-DC800 to my IXUS400. Have a look at the topic "My underwaterpictures...", and give me some comments. Would be interesting to see pictures you have from below the surface.

And this weekend i'll be out on a set of ski's video taping a mate wakeboarding, so i need it to be waterproof incase i have a stack.

And i dont have a diving kit like you so i could only go as far as a set of gogles and my breath will take me.
Thinking of taking out in to the surf for some riding videos, not sure yet.

So i'd go 1mtr at most if i have a stack and i'd be up straight away again.

Make sure you do clean and lube the O-ring after each use. If not, you will get leaks as the ring drys out or something gets stuck on the ring and lets water in.
