I thought I would post some shots that were different from the usual. Hope you like them. They are all untouched, other than re-size.

Two views of Fiona Leggate - arty, but untouched:

The bits Tim Harvey sees when driving:

And why not, Dave Pinkney's girl even wears pink underwear:

And, like me, they disappear into the sunset:

The Fiona shot was taken with a 70-200 2.8IS wide open, close to, and fill flash. The background fuzz is a couple of people in the garage. The blue fuzz bottom left is probably someone's baseball cap. The effect was not intended, it just came out that way.

Here is a one I won't use because it is chopped (disadvantage of long primes). Plato ramming Chilton off the track at Lodge. He should have had his knuckles rapped for his driving in that race:

ahh i can see now.. those are two peoples faces in the very foreground

it alsmost looks like you asked them to stick their mugs in the shot in the right place :)

If Plato got his knuckles rapped as often as he deserves it, there'd be no skin left on them.

Plato is hard work from a media point-of-view. I can get any of the other drivers to spare some time for pictures and words, but it is like pulling hen's teeth to even get Plato to smile for the camera. Bring back Reid I say, and let him loose on Plato.

Have you seen the Fiona piccie in the program, page 58? It's either her graduation picture or passport photo, neither of which are usually like the real person.

Cleland

Soper

Tarquini

That lot would teach JP a lesson or 85 on track!

A fine list Dave, although i'm sad to say Will Hoy would be difficult to bring back..

Ken, that pic isn't too clever at all is it ? She should get a new one ASAP.

Even the Giovanardi picture is a few years old. They must pull them out of old library stock, very old stock. I have been a passenger in a car at Silverstone with Soper and I agree, he would be a fine choice. Scared the h*ll out of me.

Me and my mates have always re-named the bit between Surtees and McLaren at Brands "Soper Straight", for the sole reason that he massively and aggressively straight lined it and took MASSIVE amounts of kerb whenever he race there in the BTCC.

Soperman! Awesome
