Hi all,

PhotoRecord Version 2.0 is now availible according to the website. Do anyone know where I could get a copy?

I saw that on the web site to, but no clue how to get it, I have photorecord gold that I bought from the web site when it was there so I e-mailed them about the new ver and how to get it, if and when I get a reply I will post it.

I have the reply from Canon (PhotoRecord version 2.0 is currently only bundled with selected Canon
products.)

I guess we will only get the art, not an upgrade.

Version 1.6.0 (build 12). Thats what i got with my G5 about 2 months ago :)

Thanks Ed, I thought maybe it was v 2.0, seems we will have to buy something else from canon, to get v 2.0 !!

I got Photorecord 2.0 bundled with my new Canon i860 printer. Also came with Canon EZ Print, which is a useful piece of simple photo printing software.

Well, after playing with Photorecord 2.0 a little, I decided to go back to Photorecord Gold. Gold has a much simpler interface and is more intuitive to use than the new version. I also want the ability to export an album to jpeg, which 2.0 does not seem to have.

I can share with you 6 additional artworks for Photorecord Gold which I've bought form Canon page.
You also may be interested in making CP-100 Canon printer for computer cable which I've described in this forum.

Not to upset the Photorecord fans but I was in Costco yesterday and they had a bundled package of Photoshop Delux (Photoshop light type of program) and Photo Album for $99. Not a bad price for someone who needs a photoalbum type of program and a digital editing type of program.
