Hi any pros out there buy any background software that comes with a ton of backgrounds? Also do you find using the green screen works well?
Thinking of buying a green/blue screen and using digital backgrounds.
What software would you use? I know how to do it in PS. But was wondering if there is another application better designed for this?
Thanks
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Taking the photo properly in the first place works best 99% of the time. Processed photos always look fake.

I dont like usingdigital backdrops. Its always hard to seperate a subject from the background without making it look fake. There is hair that you cant cut out the way you want to and a little shadow here and there that makes it look real.
I rather spend my money in lots of different backdrops than doing it on the computer

Thanks. Very good points. I don't really like the fake backgrounds either but some of the parents that I take pictures for want backgrounds for their kids that I couldn't possibly create for all. So most pros don't bother with the digital backgrounds I guess.
Thanks for the feedback. I see many posts on more background ideas and will look at a bit more of those.
Maybe I can create a few more nice ones that are affordable.

The green/blue screen wont help you much depending on your model.
If you have a model with unicolored clothes and very straight hair then it may work well... but lots of pattern in clothing makes selecting harder and so does curly hair or hair thats just not flat on the head.
So unless you get lucky and have the perfect model for it, those screens and digital backdrops arent very useful.
I have a selection of main colors and let the clients chose from that, I have never had a problem, that they werent satisfied.
Try to have at least
black
white
grey
blue
brown
and maybe something red and green
