Nice shots. I really like #6 and #7. Is that a dog chasing the horse in #2?

Very, very nice series. I noticed that a lot of really good horse shots are with a 300. Think I know what shape my Christmas stocking is going to be this year.

Yes it is ,it chased the horse all the way round the coarse just inches from its hoofs, after the owner was stood next to me, i would have kicked him out on his ass

How does one meter off the grass?

I set the apperture for about F4-6.3 pointed it at the grass and adjusted the speed so it was just under exposed cheched histogram and adjusted to suit this is meant to be good if the light is constant

I do a lot of equestrian photography and yes the jumping shots are the money makers if you can stop the kids ripping them of your site.

Martin.

Gary,
Absolutely. Get your business stuff set up (price list, web business cards..etc...) and start selling! Wish I could take shots like that right now...love the horse's hoof reflection in that last one.

The cars and people are a pain, they should only let you in if you have a camera:)

Hey baby, I am 49 and "re-inventing" myself as my 06 horoscope said. Doesn't matter what bloody age you are as long as you do as much of you can with your life before you are in a position of not having those options. You have a gift. I wish I could shoot that good right now. I will eventully, but look at you... right out the gate with spot-on brilliant shots. People don't ask me how old I am, they ask can you get the shot....If you lived closer I think I would box your ears!

I try to pack as much in my life as possible, last year i rode across 7 countries on my bike, went to Germany in the winter on my bike camping in -18 deg
3 weeks time we will be riding across Holland, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, then back to the UK
It's not as easy over here to get people to pay for photos and get your photos published
Regards
Gary
