Hi
I just got my frist digital camera. To my disappointement, there was tiny green pin size dead pixel on the very left corner. Its not on the actual image.
I took some pics and there was no distortion on the pictures.
Is this common?

Hmmm. is this in your LCD or in your pictures??... If it's in the pictures send some to me...
If it's in your LCD the user manual say that is normal to have a "dead pixel" (by the way what do you mean by 'dead pixel' ??) I mean some pixel that didn't light up in the LCD since it's manufacture technology.

Its on the LCD of the camera, its on the left black border. Its a tiny bright green dot.
From what I read, I guess its common occurence on LCD for some of these cameras.

That's it!...
But if it was in my camera I'll be upset ;-)
Sorry!

I'm such a noob. Its no biggie. I decided to give it to my friend for $250 for his wedding gift and paid the balance on it.
He is going to Thailand, China and Vietnam for his honeymoon.
So he needs it more than I do.
Thanks for the reply.
