20D - No Raw Image setting?????

I go to menu, select Quality, recording quality screen appears, I see only L through S but no option for +Raw.
Am I missing something or is my camera malfunctioning???

No, theres no malfunction. You have to be in P, Tv, Av, M, or A-DEP mode to shoot in RAW.

I read the asterick on a page requires a creative mode. No asterick on page 46 in the Canon manual.
Just wanted say that so you didn't think I was totally brain dead.

You are correct, no asterix, but see page 45 in BOLD in the brackets, and in BOLD at the top of page 46 :-) :-)

Don't feel too bad though, you are definately NOT the first person to ask this question, which makes me think the manual is not that clear in pointing this out after all. Or maybe it's just the fact that 20D owners cannot be ar**d to look at the manual... :-)
