and I wanna know if this is a good copy? Its looking good to me but I just wanna make sure. Heres links to the images since they're large, I kept the file size large to show the real quality, not compressed. These are all iso 100, shutterspeed 200 with flash. All images are just above 3 megs. Focus is at center of all pics.

Hm, well I think my copy is great at 28mm at both 2.8 and 4.0
At 75mm its fine at 4.0 but a little soft at 2.8 maybe.. dropping down to 70mm at 2.8 was a lot better to my eyes. So far, 2.8 at 75mm is my only soft spot which is fine to me.

Because of all the snobs that say only L glass can take good pictures, well all my lenses take good pictures so they all must be L glass :)

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that L glass takes better pictures per se, but I have heard them say that it's just a better lens.

It would be so awesome for Tamron to make a 24-70mm 2.8 with their own version of USM/HSM with full time manual. Improve optics a bit as well?

Then they can slap a blue ring around the front and make it their own "luxury line" but still keep it under $450....muahaha.

Well do you want a lens sharper than that?
Looks spot on to me.
