Beribazu Capoeira Cafe!
Check out my gallery at http://www.beribazu.co.uk/coppermine/index.php
The photos are all capoeira (You know, that Brazilian martial art/dance) related and most are taken with a PowerShot A70.
Any constructive criticism (or downright slating) is very welcome!

I see, but had no idea that they were martial arts.
That may imply that the images themselves do not covey the story you want to tell -- although the guy flying towards the girl did.

Well, it's a very unusual type martial art... but I take your point.
What would be a good way to capture the feeling of very fast motion? but still maintain a bit of clarity and detail?

I am not sure
I will try to find a post from last year of a Japanese swordsman flinging his sword around.
The member caught this guy in a time exposure, but with hi intensity side lights ( as I recall from deep memory).
What you the viewer see is the clothed warrior...within a gradient of blurr that moves out to circles of the sword's, and swordsman's arm and body motion. As I recall, you see a of the sword at those points where it changes direction.

That sounds amazing, and just the type of effect I would lve to achieve...
any luck finding the post?
