Hi,
I have the 135-400 f4.5-5.6 APO for a few weeks now.
Compared to my 70-210F2.8 APO it's a bit lesser lens :D, well that said I love it.
Look at www.doorhof.nl for some shots with it, look at the SCE folder.
Greetings,
Frank

It's a bit softer than the f2.8 Sigma but overall I love it very much, watch out however there are a few units arround with other ranges but they are alot less intressting.

With these super long telephotos we can't really expect them to be as solid as the 70-210mm f.2.8/70-200mm lenses really,.
Can we?
... but on the other hand,. like J.A.F.'s experience,. my 50-500mm is superb! Yes its best aperture at 500mm is f/6.3,.. but it is a very sharp lens and focus is amazing for such a huge peice aluminum tubing with such a small maximum aperture.
