The car looks great, but I'm still hating your choice of focus point in the 1st one. The last full size one should be all sharp.
For me, the 3rd one works best, but I'd like to see more of the tail light sharp.

Point well taken, PhotosGuy. I don't understand my obesession with the grills and meshes that day. I really should have the emblem at the POF. No sharpening done to these ( these were done before I had asked about you about USM on car pics ), but they need it, I agree. I think I'll roll up my sleeves, and work at my car shots before posting on here (transportation) for a while. I have a lot to learn yet about that. I am so much more comfortable in a studio with people. Thanks for the encouragment and the advice! I've read your tutorials and I've got a long way to go yet.

I think that the reflections are the major item holding the quality down. Get a polarizer, and I think the distracting shadows will go away.

A CP won't have any effect on shadows. Do you mean reflections? Reflections make a car look like a car & not a model. Either move it, or yourself to get the reflections that you need to make it look good. Sometimes you can't, but I don't think that it's the case here.

I think it could have worked better if you focused more on the picture (while your taking it) versus the post processing (which shouldn't be much) after you take it. I agree with photosguy about the reflections.

You're welcome, Buddy!

What post processing, RadAL? There isn't so much as even a little sharpening on these photos ( even tho they could probably use some ). I too agree with PhotosGuy on the reflections.

Thanks Alan!

I meant, as a general guideline, not for those particular pictures, just in general. Sorry for the mistake.
