Well the nest contained more than the two that I originally saw last week. This morning there was four babies and two adults. Here are the babies.....I posted this for the "cute" factor...Look hard to find the fourth...:) Enjoy!

What a shot !! You must be very proud. I would not have seen the fourth if you hadn't told us to look hard. Well done, I am envious.

Wow! What a great shot, Keith. Cute factor is off the chart.
How close were you when you made the capture and was it taken with your 100-400? You obviously have the attention of all 4. Was this early morning or afternoon?
Image is nice and sharp, as always, and has great color.

Ron, listed below is the full EXIF info. The shots was in the AM, I was about 20 to 30 feet from the nest and I had to sit in the car for about 10 minutes for them to calm down and come out of that hole. It was with the 100-400. These guys are about the size of a hand and the parents are slightly larger. I was trying to wait for number four to come fully out of the hole, but had to make it back home to take my daughter to school...

OMG! The cute factor is out of this universe Keith! I would blow it up, frame it like a CEO portrait and hang it in my living room. Even my cutest chipmunk wallpaper has to bow down to this.
If i ever step foot in FL again, i'll have to bribe you to help me find these cuties.:D

I take it the 4th didn`t like your lens Keith and desided to hide behind the grass?

I guess he was a little camera shy..Boy did I try to wait him out....he did not move and I had to eventually leave to get my daughter off to school....Luckily there are several nest in the area that have these newborns around. It is quite amazing to see them jumping up in the air as they learn to fly....Thanks all for the comments!

You did great with that rare opportunity, Keith.
Maybe it's just me, but isn't another pair of eyes behind the middle bird's legs? Looks like five in all.

I watched an took quite a few shots of them, there was a time when all four were out, but the were never together for the family shot. There may be more in the hole as I only saw two for the first week....I'll be back at the hole to see if any more are there.
Thanks all for the great great comments!

Yes I actually pass this one daily. I have to pass it to get to the main roads, so I check up on them on a regular basis. We have many nest throughout the area.
Thanks all for the looks!
