I was wondering if anyone would be kind enoufh to share their parameter setting for pictures of landscape and night exposures.

Pekka, if you read this, I would really like to know what kind of parameters you use for shot like the night time scene of the street lined with cars.

Thank You

clkgtr37,

Just wanted to point out that, if you shoot raw then you don't need to worry about parameter settings because you can change them during conversion.

If you convert to linear TIFF, then the parameter settings are irrelevant because you do it yourself in Photoshop or whatever.

If you like to shoot JPG, what you could do is take a few "typical" shots in raw format and convert using different combinations for contrast, sharpness and saturation. 3 x 3 x 3 = 27, so it will be a hassle to set up, if you want to check them all, but you can then work out which are your 3 favourites and program them into the D30. (I read this recently in a forum posting somewhere, so anonymous kudos to the originator).

Roger
