I shoot with a D60 and have a love/hate relationship with it.... the one big problem is underexposure. It's consistent - 1 photo is exposed nicely and then the next 3 are underexposed. Doesn't matter what the conditions are - flash or outdoors or whatever. The only time it does not do it is when in complete manual mode in the studio. Then exposure is the same shot to shot.
I used to think it was my flash - but I am now pretty sure its not. It still does this often when not even using a flash.
Every mode except manual does the underexposure thing. I think I've tried everything. I can usually fix the photos in PS but its a lot of extra work and that's really getting old. What really seems strange to me is when I view the info on these photos, it says they are all shot at the same settings - but the differnce is totally obvious to the eye.
I am planning on getting a 10D real soon... and I have been thinking, hoping (praying) that this will not happen with the new camera. Do any of you 10D owners have this type of problem?
The one thing I have not ever done is upgraded the firmware in the D60 - could that help? I have version 1.02 in it.
Even with this problem, I am in love with digital. I'll never go back to film!
