Coast Tripod

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a coast tripod? My father in law was thinking of me when he was emptying out a house his millionaire friend owns and took me home a tripod that was brand new in the box. I have not seen it yet but he said it looks real professional and it is a Coast model #vtr99g.

I have never heard of them and a google search didnt turn up much. Any info would be appreciated. It is free so no biggy if it isnt anything good. :)

An older brand. ISTR seeing some of them back in the '70s and they looked pretty solid, but that was a while ago. Give it a look, give it a try, and as you said, the price was right. Worst case, eBay it or donate it to Value Village, Purple Heart or some such.
