A couple of cool little crabs I saw the other day here on the island. They have really cool eyes.

Thanks, I'm not really sure what kind they are. The fiddlers we have in Fl. are a lot diferent. Wait till I find a coconut crab to get a picture of, very strange and large crabs. They were both taken at 300mm. f/5.6 ISO 200 300mm 1/1250s.

The first shot of the crab is has amazing colours.

Thanks, you know I didn't even think about trying macro shots on these guys since the tamron has macro. I havn't had this lens very long and have never really messed with macro before. I will have to try it out. The Island I am on is a military owned island, I can't say where it is but it's not the worst place to be deployed that is for sure. I've been to the desert a few times and here twice, here is much, much, much better.
