Beautiful photos Matthias.

The ICE formations were terrific. I loved the longer exposure you took of the water running over the rocks -- I will have to try that myself ! A few super macro shots that I must also try to copy.

Are you worried about these lower temeratures causing condensation (they warn about same in the G2 book) ?

But, best of all was the mood that you caught in your the last picture. Here the misty air hangs over a quiet pool where shafts of light have carved out their own space in amougst the trees.

I do not worrie about the cold. The G2 is a strong Cam
and in the bag after the shooting, there is no risk.

I enjoy your pictures a lot. Your composition of landscapes is great. Interestingly, I took some ice crystal pictures a couple a days ago that look very similar to yours. Great minds think alike. :eyes
