PC Freezes After Using ZoomBrowser EX to Download Pictures

I am using Win98 with a PowerShot A300. I can download pictures using ZoomBrowser EX one time before the PC locks-up. Then I have to perform "Control Alt Delete" to remove "msgsrv32" because it is not responding.

Also, after downloading pictures, I get the error msg "No Camera Was Found" if I disconnect / reconnect the camera.

After I reboot, I can download pictures one more time again before the PC freezes and I have to reboot.

Any suggestions??

98 is pretty old. Go to the Canon website and download the proper A300 driver for 98 and the latest version of ZB for 98, install both and see if everything is fixed.

If not, you may have some other problem, such as too little RAM. There are many possibilities...

i also use win98 and tried zoombrowser (with my 10D) this software seems to have lots of bugs ...

i now use breezebrowser and problems are gone ;)
