I just ordered the Lee Neutral Density filters with the gelsnap holder - and I'm unsure if they're any good - I realize they won't be as good as singh-ray but I'm hoping they'll be decent enough that I won't want to trash them in a year and upgrade (if that makes any sense)

This is the set I got..

They are quite good. Expensive, but good.

expensive ? really ? I guess it's all relative LOL .. I think the Singh-Rays are EXPENSIVE - I thought $65 for the set with the holder was a "steal" :)

Check out the Hi Tech Brand _ very well made and generally run around $40.

Sounds like it's a little late to be asking if they're any good, no? ;)

Rest easy, they're good filters. As are the HiTech ones.

LOL - Yea Double Neg - I tend to 'get ahead of myself' :) but I could always return them ..

I have to be honest - I'm not loving the "gel snap holder" thingy .. (it's literally a coaster with a hole in the middle held to my lens with a rubber band)

Yep, the Lee filters are great. I also like the HiTech filters as well and they have a great price also!
