1/16000 shutter

I am wondering if anyone has played around with the 1d 's 1/16000 shutter speed, like shooting (with a gun) watermelons or anything like that, thanks.

Try this site www.hiviz.com But if I recall correctly most of this type of photography is done in darkness with the camera on bulb & with the flash acting as a shutter for high speed shots (ie 1/50,000th sec!) but its a long time since was at uni!
