macro lenses

I would like your opinion, please only if you have had direct experience, between the canon 100 macro, canon 180 macro, and sigma 180 macro. Specificaly between the 100 macro and either of the 180 macros. I would like to know which is the sharpest, best color rendition, and what ever else you think about them, thanks, Ian.

I have the 100 Macro from Canon and I truly love this lens. I haven't used any of the others so I can't provide you with a reasonable comparison. The colors are pretty much bang on. The sample below was shot handheld and what you see is right out of the camera without manipulation in photoshop.

Hi,

Look at the Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro.
I bought it yesterday and it's jawdropping, the contrast and sharpness of the lens in both macro and portrait mode is amazing.

In a test (Focus magazine) the only one better was a Leica (costing 3x as much and only by 1 point), the Sigma 105EX and Canon had 2-3 points less.
