I just ordered my first digital camera, a Canon G-2. I also own a Celestron C90 spotting scope which I have attached my Canon EOS Elan II ( via an T-mount and a Celestron T-adapter) for some nice telephoto shots. I have ordered the lensmate 49mm adapter from LensMate for macro photography.

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever connected the LensMate (49mm) to the Celestron T-adapter( about 1.25" or 31.75 mm with step down rings. How did it work? any problems?

Thanks to all

I'm just looking into the possibilities while I decide on a digital camera.
There's a thing called Digi-T I was thinking over getting before, if I do get the Canon G2, for attaching to my B&L Criterion telescope. Now I'm a little confused on what it would require to do this. Looks like there are other ways, such as your stepping idea maybe.

Anyway, just wanted to share the URL to such hardware.
