Today i stood in the garden for 4 hours as you do ( lol ) waiteing for a hawk,went in to make a sandwich Look out as some starlings were makeing a noise and there he was:rolleyes: I grabed the camera and got him :D

Nice photo of the hawk. Love the color streaks on the feathers. Very cool in flight. Glad your patience paid off.

Wow...excellent in-flight shot of the Sparrow Hawk. Sharp with good details. Good composition. Love the light in it's wings. Simply brilliant. :-)

Nicely done! I like the way the light reflects through the wings and picks up the colors and its wonderfully sharp too.

The reason the wings are lit to the underside is the light reflected up from my swimmingpool it works great :) lots of my flight shots from home get this .
