Nah, in the 2nd last frame you can just see him falling forward in front of his board, close but ... not there

That's a mean wave. Was this low tide? It looks like that shelf could eat someone alive.

hehe, yeah tide was about middle tide, going down i think, but the shelf was about this shallow... and its sharp and pointy and nasty...
