Well, we've got a bit of a pest in our house. Little buggers below are to be found around the first floor of our house.
They're named Lepisma Saccharina, in short silverfishes.

So... who's got a clue on getting rid of them?

Think every house has these- not normally seen as they are nocturnal. You can get traps for them

Get a cat.
Seriously. Cats love bugs. Catching, then eating, a bug is a game to a cat.
Our basement used to be FULL of crickets. We could kill them out and they would return in a few days. After having a kitten for a few weeks, we no longer had a cricket problem. The only bugs they don't go after are spiders.

Well, we're getting a cat :D My sister in law and her husband have this cute little kid. He just can't keep his hands off their cat, so they want a new home for it. I'm gonna love chasing her with a camera :D

spiders eat them so get yourself a box of Jumpers. I dont believe a cat would notice anything so small.

I have a pretty good population of wolf spiders (runners, not webbers) see them all the time, but, they have a hard time keeping the centipedes under control. Big ones..
I can't imagine what the house would be like without the wolves..
Of course, my wife FREAKS out when a 2-inch wolf spider crawls across the kitchen floor.. LOL! I don't kill em, I catch and let them go outside. If I see one and she is not around, I just ignore it.

Depends on the Cat, we have two litter mates. George will eat anything that moves and a lot that doesn't, he often seems to be chasing nothing. No woodlouse, spider ect, no matter how small, is safe. Harry is much more reserved but has very sharp claws when he gets going.
