I admit that I am a newbie, but I am ashamed to say that my RAW mode has disappeard from my Canon 10d options. It was there when I purchased the camera, but I had not used it (I wanted to learn the other features before experimenting with RAW.) A couple of days ago, I thought I would check it out, and it is no longer one of the size options listed. So feel free to chuckle politely or laugh right out loud, just offer your help/advice when your facial expression is down to a smile. :)
Is it possible to delete a shooting mode? Is it just "hidden" by some simple switchology confusion on my part?
Any comments/suggestions would be much appreciated. Even the ones with chuckles. :)
Thanks in advance for your help!

Which mode are you in when looking to change image size? I think RAW is only available in the Manual Modes.
Hmm, thinking back - I wondered this myself at first. I haven't looked it up though, just noticed that RAW was an option when in an manual mode and not when in a auto-preset mode.
\Goes looking for the user guide to see if missed something worth chuckling over ;).

See! I TOLD you I was a newbie. I'm so used to it staying in the "green rectangle" mode, that I forgot to check others before yelling for help. Thanks Sketcher! That was it. Now you can all officially chuckle at the photography idiot :)
Thanks again Sketcher, I do appreciate the help!

Raw mode is only available in the "creative" zone, full auto and the other basic zone auto modes do not support Raw.
Program AE "P" gives you full auto with the exception of ISO selection (in P ISO won't change until you set it, in basic auto the camera program selects shutter speed, aperature and ISO.

Excellent point who10.
An additional benefit of shooting in "P" is that you can pre-set your -->[AF point]
