Hi everyone
Just joined this forum after photo blogging elsewhere for a while, but learning very little. The reason I'm here is because I want to learn. People were too polite on my blog - I need real honest criticism. So please help with any photos I post.

This was an opportunist shot. My youngest son picked the flower and it was sitting in a bottle in the kitchen with the sun streaming through the window providing interesting effects.

Just getting the hang of an EOS 350D, 18-55mm kit lens.

Thanks

Thanks for the comments. :D

The colours really were that vibrant in the bright sunlight - I think..

Funnily enough the background is what first caught my attention.
