Notice that in the title it says "macroscopic." I ran the FAQs', looked over the posts to make sure no one else has addressed this, so are "macroscopic images" permissable in the macro forum? Macroscopic, meaning they are taken through the use of a stereomicroscope. Most of you probably know that stereomicroscopes are low power instruments. Great bug scopes for kids and adults but the images produced by the use of them are macro in nature but...we'll say micro also because they are taken, technically through a microscope. This is a gray area I am sure. So before posting any images I would like to be sure so that they are permissable in the Macro Forum.:)

My appreciation to the moderators and admin personel for their time and consideration.;)

Ken, I know exactly what you're taking about. I've seen some of your work. As far as I'm concerned, You're welcome to post your "Macroscopic" work in there. As far as how well it will be recieved, there is only one way to find out. ;)
I'm sure you'll get some WOWS from that crowd.

Post away - as long as it's pictures of really small stuff, or really small details of large stuff, we don't much care how it got into your camera (anticipates next photo of SEM monitor screen in 10 - 9 - 8 - . . . ).
