Darren, your photo would be better appreciated if you could post a bigger one directly on this site. The small one above links to a popup advert, and more advertising on the main page. I gave up waiting for your actual photo to appear. :(

like so... http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/4287/picture009edit6xq.jpg
put the direct url linking to the image into [ IMG ] xxxxx [ /IMG ]
(but without the spaces)
its a nice shot! i'd like to see it a bit less tight around the top of the mast though... same with reflection.

There are two main ways to show a photo on the site.
Option 1 is to upload the image to this website, but the constraints are that the image (usually a jpg) must be no more than 100kb in size. If this is the case, then you will not see anything after trying the upload.
Option 2 is to put the image on another site such as ImageShack that you are using, and then use the little button that looks like a mountain when writing your post. You should be careful to enter the URL of the actual photo and not a link to the web page that the photo is on, as doing so will result in no photo appearing. In your case, the current photo's URL is
http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/4287/picture009edit6xq.jpg
ImageShack is ok about direct linking in this fashion, but some companies do not allow it, and all that will appear on these forums (if not nothing at all) could be a graphic stating that direct linking is not allowed.

More sky would be nice, but I don't want to detract from what a good capture it is.
Which lens did you take it on?

It looks nice, shame about the dull sky.
One thing i don`t like though is your pop-up adverts, very enoying, this is a photography forum not a commercial TV channel.
