I work for a camera shop/lab; for a year and a half I was on the retail side of the business, now I run the repair department.

Oh, and I'm incorporating as a small business sometime next week. =)

i voted OTHER.

i went to tech school for robotics & automation and got an associates in micro electronics & another in robotics.

i started out accepting a job literally a week after i turned 20 (interviewed when i was 19) and then moved to rockford illinois in june to work for an automation company building robotic & automated machines.

spent 2 yrs there and did a lot of traveling (including a 5 month stint in monterrey mexico) but some things kept piling up and making me dislike the way the company was ran so i switched jobs.

i now work as an in house controls tech doing program changes & upgrades on machines and trouble shooting the systems as well as programming the robots.

its not bad, more pay then the old job but i miss the travel.

I run a boring machine - as in boring holes through the earth, Vermeer calls it a Horizontal Directional Drill to be fancy. Here is thier link (http://www.vermeer.com/vcom/TrenchlessEquipment/Line.jsp?PrdlnID=3383), not many people have heard of this that i have talked to. Basically we go in where trenching is not an option, like under freeways and busy streets.

I've had the luxury of needing those a couple of times (boring under runways and taxiways) and they're just amazing. Had one operator pop out 3 inches away from the center of a giant X he had painted in the hole on the far side. Blew my mind how he could be so accurate.

A fireman who sometimes has to take pictures at work during my investigations. Technically, sense I get paid for taking the photos, I would be a professional. But I just voted "other" because I'm just an amateur when it comes to photography.

I am the co-owner of a small county newspaper and print shop. After 21 years of working for the newspaper as a printer, the owners retired and sold the business to their son and I. Big change for a blue collar country boy like myself. But its going well, and I do get to use some of my photography for the paper.

Based at Nellis? Nope at Langley, wouldn't want to be stationed there. It's only good to visit for a week or two at the most. Although, VA isn't much better, but I'll take it over Vegas.
