Here is a suggestion for an interesting outing for people living in Toronto and its surrounding areas. I know its short notice but I just found out about it.

The City of Toronto Culture Division is proud to present the 7 th annual Doors Open Toronto - one weekend, once a year - when over 140 buildings of architectural, historic or cultural significance open their doors to the public for a city-wide celebration.
Step inside hidden gems, modern landmarks, places of worship, halls of learning, boardrooms, bedrooms, mansions, museums, ‘green' roof gardens, theatres, national historic sites, centres of rail and air travel, banking halls, architects' offices and more. Many of these buildings are not normally open to the public. No tickets or pre-registration required - admission is free to all buildings. The official program guide will be available in the Toronto Star on Thursday, May 18, 2006 .
Doors Open Toronto invites you to get to know the city, whether you've lived in Toronto all your life or you're visiting for the first time. See Toronto like you've never seen it before!

Yep! ;)

I'm planning on hitting a few spots in the north end of the city that are on this program!

Hopefully, I'll have some decent pics to post after next weekend when the event is on, on Saturday and Sunday.

Here's the link to the official list of buildings;
