 .. I just found out that my co-worker copied my web layout without telling me. About 2 month ago this guy at work asked me if I can show him how create a simple webpage, his purpose was to upload his pictures to show families and friends. So, I did show him how to use frontpage (not a big fan of MS, but I think it's easy for beginner), how to upload picture and so on.

This morning my other co-worker fwd his website link to me, .. guess what it looks almost identical as mine (layout wise). You'll see why ..

here is my co-worker = www.edison-seattle.com (http://www.edison-seattle.com)

here is mine = www.sleepy-nokkie.com (http://www.sleepy-nokkie.com)

Not only that, he been fwd pics that he claimed he took but when I went into his picture's summary in properties to see what shutterspeed, F-stop he used .. I found out that it was taken by camera that he doesn't even have.
man, I hate poser .. I just need flush out my anger before I gone mad and kick his A** ..

Wow - they are almost identical! You know what they say "Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery".

don't worry about it.. despite he's layout on his website a good portion of his photos look like nothing more than snapshots...

wow! nice pictures! so i'm pretty sure, you are a seattle-lite:) Seattle is one of the best cities that I've seen especially on spring, summer and fall. Winter is just gloomy. I just miss Seattle especially the Le Panier at Pike Place;)

"maybe" the one you taught is the only thing that he knows when it comes in lay-outing. He might have not copied you "intentionally". He just loved your style and go with it. Since he is your co-worker, I think it's easy to tell him to change his design coz' it looks like yours.

yeah forget it, its not like a lot of time looks like it went into the site anyway. And, every damn thing out there on the web is copied constantly. Why create the code if someone else has already done what you want? There are whole web sites of people providing code on that basis.

And yeah, some nice photos there. Good work.
