WOW Brian...Those are wonderful. I love the fact that the collar at her "neck" is transparent. That really is up close! And personal!
What is that white material that she is on? Looks like micro fiber, but I am assuming that it is something in nature

It's on the underside of a Rhododendron leaf- I grow old fashioned ones which have furry undersides- either white like this or brown. I cheated with the pics by taking the leaf off the plant with the ladybird on and putting the wrong way up on a more suitable surface- I couldn't get at it where it was :)

Thanks Omri- lucky with this ladybird as the eyes seem larger and are certainly more distinctive than they are on many ladybirds. :)

No it's not albino- it is called the orange ladybird- Halyzia sedecimguttata
