Cool pictures... I mainly do drag racing.. Getting my XT in a week or so, whenever Dell decides to come off backorder and ship it :rolleyes:

You should try to see if theres anyway to get shots without the fence in the way, or anyway to get to the middle of the track to get better pics?

Definitely trying to get to a place w/o any fencing between your lense and the cars would be a plus. Also practice and practice doing panning shots. You'll get a feel for the way your camera takes them, and then when you go to races you'll be more prepared.
Also you could let me know of a few sprint car races in NE Ohio (where I'm at too).. would love to take some shots at one or two before heading back to school in the fall! :D
