I have attached many photos so I know how to do it. I am sure that the file size and pixel size are correct as well as the file type. But when I go to upload them, it just keeps "uploading" and it never actually uploads. I either get an error that says "Invalid Post specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator", or I get a page cannot be displayed screen. The only thing different I have done was convert from a .tif to a .jpg. But they are .jpg's that I am trying to upload.

Well, fortunately I did not delete the original .jpg's off of my camera. So, I reworked them and kept them as .jpg's and now there is no problem. SO I guess if I want to attach photos to this forum using the POTN server, I cannot use a photo that I have been saved as .jpg - .tif - .jpg. My camera cannot take shots in the .tif format, but if it could, I am guessing I shouldn't do that if I am going to post here?

1. Never delete originals or save over them.
2. JPEG format is a "standard" and it should not matter which is the source format. But because JPEG format allows e.g. "progressive" (sometimes www compatible) and also 16 bit JPEG's (not www compatble) make sure that you save as standard JPEG (8 bits, non-progressive). If you have Photoshop, use "Save for web..." command.

I really am not following anything you are telling me - it's going right over my head. But I appreciate you trying. I don't understand all this about 2 different types of jpg's. And if it doesn't matter what the source format is, than I still don't understand why I could upload my files which were coverted from .tif. BTW, I use paint shop pro X. There is no save to web option.
